HBN FOUNDATION DESIGNATED CHARITIES

The HBN Foundation has designated the Navy Safe Harbor Foundation and the Shepherd Center "SHARE" Military Initiative as its primary charities.

Shepherd Center "SHARE" Military Initiative

Shepherd Center is nationally renowned for the unique care and services provided to patients who have experienced a catastrophic spinal cord injury, acquired brain injuries and other neurological disorders. It is the nation's largest not-for-profit hospital specializing in research, medical care, rehabilitation, and advocacy for people with these types of disorders. Capitalizing on its expertise in treating brain injuries, the SHARE (Shaping Hope and Recovery Excellence) Military Initiative was created. It provides a continuum of rehabilitation care for servicemen and servicewomen who have sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) while serving the United States during military conflicts. Shepherd Center is the only rehabilitation facility in the entire nation to develop a dedicated and separate military patient program. www.shepherd.org/share
