2019 Spring Conference

We are pleased that ACVB President William Pate will provide an extensive look at the future of Atlanta's tourism industry and events. Also on hand will be David Rubinger, Market President and Publisher, Atlanta Business Chronicle as he shares the latest up-to-date information on Atlanta's business community along with the latest breaking news and top stories. Special Guest and new HBN member Phil Kent is CEO of InsiderAdvantage and publisher of JAMES Magazine. Phil is also a panelist for "The Georgia Gang" and will give an update on status of current and proposed legislation for the City of Atlanta and State of Georgia. Rounding out the Conference will be six HBN members providing information about their companies and/or products in two "Three in Thirty" 10-minute segments each. HBN's Spring Conference would not be the same without the opportunity to join your fellow HBN members for a reception and dinner at Hal's on Old Ivy, open exclusively to attendees of the Spring Conference. Alpharetta Marriott is the official hotel for the Turkey Trot Invitational and is offering a special rate of $79 for overnight accommodations for those who feel the need for an "after glow" or joining us for golf on Monday morning.

Suggested donation for admission to Patriots Party:  $50.00/per person or gift item for our veterans and their families at the Shepherd Center SHARE Military Initiative.  Appropriate gifts for Shepherd Center "SHARE" Military Initiative Patients:  Toiletry items (mostly for men, but a few for women): shower gel, shampoo, tooth brush, dental floss, deodorant.  Mini-bottles of cleaning supplies (dish washing liquid, Clorox wipes, sponges), sleeping masks, non-slip bath mats, Yeti-type mugs, healthy snacks.

28th Annual Turkey Trot Invitational and 5th Annual Army Navy Challenge Cup.

Since 1991, more than 600 area businesses and individuals have played in the Turkey Trot Invitational forming a business network among HBN Foundation members and corporate sponsors.  The Turkey Trot Invitational is one of Georgia's oldest and largest charity tournaments generating over $2.5 million for other charitable organizations during its 28 year history.  The HBN Foundation was founded by the original 16 members of the Turkey Trot Invitational under the premise that business and partnerships could be conducted while playing golf.  Player registration, breakfast and  gift exchange begins at 9:00 AM, opening ceremonies and shotgun start at 10:00 AM.

As a sponsor or participant in the Turkey Trot Invitational, you have a special opportunity to support our "Army" and "Navy" teams competing for the 5th Annual Army Navy Challenge Cup.  Each team of veterans are former patients/clients of the Shepherd Center SHARE Military Initiative and Navy Safe Harbor Foundation.  All have received the very best in medical, rehabilitative care and family services.  All net proceeds from your donation/sponsorship of the Turkey Trot, Patriots Party and Army Navy Challenge go to benefit both of our veterans' charities.  Go Army!  Go Navy!
